144 Cutting, cropping, and erasing
Erasing portions of an item
1. Use the tool to select an item.
2. On the Standard toolbar, click the Erase Tool.
3. On the context toolbar, choose an eraser tip shape.
4. (Optional) Set the tip width by adjusting the Width value.
5. Position the cursor, and drag over the item's edge. The area to be
erased is drawn temporarily (use the Ctrl key to redefine the erase area
while drawing).
